January was a busy month for us and we received a huge blessing that we were able to share with our local community of animal lovers. For this, we say an enormous thank you to Royal Canin for their generous donation of dog food. We were able to give a 1kg bag of dog food to owners who brought their animals to be vaccinated or sterilized through John Moore Animal Welfare at our weekly community clinic in January!
On behalf of all our staff, we would like to say a massive and heartfelt thank you to all our sponsors who contributed to the success of our recent Doggy Walk. Firstly, to Arabella Wine Estate, a massive thank you for the beautiful venue and the warm welcome and hospitality.
On Saturday 11th December at Arabella Wine Estate we were joined by every kind of clever hound and a wide array of lovely people to enjoy a gorgeous day out in the vineyards. A mixed troupe of large and small dogs set out with families, single dog-parents, couples, and kids of all ages strolling along the dirt paths under a bright African sun with rolling mountain views and fresh farm air.
There is a saying: "Saving one animal will not change the world, but for that animal surely the world will change". Here at John Moore Animal Welfare, we strive to make a difference one animal at a time by providing vital primary veterinary care to animals in need in our surrounding underprivileged communities.
